So what is All Hallow's Read?
All Hallow's Read is a Hallowe'en tradition. It's simply that in the week of Hallowe'en, or on the night itself, you give someone a scary book.

I love things like Roald Dahl - and my beloved A Wrinkle in Time is magic and has some distinctly scary bits.

Kids like scary. They are much more grounded in reality and in fantasy than adults. I don't want to grow up and lose that!
